Grace was established over a period of about a year beginning in 1952. We will be celebrating over the next 12 months with several events and activities that honour the past, look forward to the future and serve the community in which we live. Seventy years is a significant history and we are planning to celebrate in a significant way.
The first activity is to support those who are facing food scarcity which is being made worse by the high rate of inflation for food. After speaking to Kerr Street Mission to determine what kinds of food are most needed, our goal is to provide 70 food baskets with the four most needed items. So, during Advent we are asking members to donate 70 jars of honey.
During the year we will be asking for donations of the other three food items.
