We witness to each other by attending worship and other events at Grace. We are saying “You
are not alone” when we attend.

Grace can be thankful to a core of members who are present for almost everything. When you attend an event at Grace you can count on seeing a few familiar faces. Lets look back at two traditions at Grace.

On November 3, about 40 people gathered to enjoy a catered meal and to have some fun with facts about historical Saints of the church. After our main course, Pastor asked each of us our birthdays and told us what Saints are commemorated on those days. It was interesting to see what other members were born in the same month; but no one shared a birthday. Then we worked in groups at our tables to answer a quiz trying to match with right Saint with some clues. We must have done well since we could then have our desserts!

Special thanks to Luanne and Jean who prepared the table decorations, Ardie, Dwight and Jill who set the tables, Ray,  Dean, Bernice and  Ilse who lead the clean up and the many members who brought desserts and otherwise helped make the evening a great success.

Continuing to eat, twenty-five members gathered on Shrove Tuesday to enjoy a pancake supper.

Special thanks to Dean who has been organizing this for so long that he has lost track of the number of years.
