We gather for worship regularly in accordance with the traditions of the Lutheran Church, develop worship leaders, and ensure that worship has a place in other functions of the congregation.

When do we worship

Not only on Sunday morning

We can worship on any day and at any time. This year, we learned what it was like to worship on Sunday afternoons. On the first Sunday of each month, our service is at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon to provide an alternative to those who for health or other reasons find attendance at a morning service difficult.

This year we also began a mid-week mindfulness service for those who work on Sundays or have other responsibilities. It is a different kind of service. We don’t always have to worship God in the same way. The service is about 15 minutes, although it is best to arrive early and to listen to the music and meditate about the lesson. After the lesson, Pastor leads us in a short reflection and offers prayers to respond to individual concerns. It is a quiet time to reflect on our faith.
